Hi everyone! I'm joining our gracious hostess Liz at Rose Vignettes to celebrate the Flower of the Month:Marigold:At her Fresh-Cut Friday party.
Vibrant Marigolds take the center stage in my Autumn Tea table:

Read this my dears, and you will see
how to make a nice cup of tea
take teapot to kettle, not t'other way round
and when you hear that whistling sound
pour a little in the pot
just make it nice and hot
Pour that out and put in the tea,
loose or in bags, your choice, you see.
One bag for each two cups will do
with one extra bag to make a fine brew.
Steep 3-5 minutes then pour a cup.
Then sit right down and drink it up!
I hope you enjoyed sharing a cup of Autumn tea with me today. Thanks for taking the time to visit me and leave me such loving thoughts.
And my thanks to Terri at Creative Princess for featuring my Tuscan Room HERE. Terri has an inspiring blog where she shares her creative projects every week with us and graciously hosts a linky party every Thursday. Do stop by and visit her when you get a chance.

Poppy, what a beautiful afternoon tea. I have a friend from England (she lived here, but moved back last year) and I really learned to appreciate tea. She talked a lot about how the fine china was used, the food prepped just like you have it--I just love the whole experience! Thanks for reminding me of her.
ReplyDeleteDebbie
I've always loved marigolds... they look romantic in that little basket! andrea@townandprairie
