Burlap Bag Planter

Hi, there!
I found these burlap bags in the garden section of Walmart. They have a drainage hole inside and make wonderful containers for plants, either planting directly or placing a potted plant inside.

I love the texture of the burlap and how it contrasts with the greenery of the fern! And the handles make it so convenient to transport it anywhere .

For now it is sitting right next to our front door on the porch along with the evergreen in the urn and the geranium in the metal plant stand.
On the other side of the front door is another urn planted with an arborvitae evergreen:

Against the stone facade of the house, the combination of the greenery and annuals looks beautiful:

Summer greens:

This is a view of my front porch from the curb:

A row of taller arborvitae evergreens make a natural privacy fence from the road. Morning sun bathes the evergreen trees:

A view of the pillared light post from the porch:

The pink impatiens contrast beautifully with the yellowish green of the landscaping bushes:

Blue ceramic pots

of various sizes

overflowing with pink impatiens

......verbenas and yellow snapdragons

August is upon us

and few more weeks left to enjoy the beauty of summer annuals

before we bid adieu to the glorious days of summer
