Endless Summer!

Then followed that beautiful season... Summer....
Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light; and the landscape
Lay as if new created in all the freshness of childhood.
~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Before, I continue any further with this post, I would like to express my thanks to  sweet Marty at: A Stroll thru Life for featuring my Galvanized Decoupaged Bucket at her Table Top Tuesday. Thanks so much Marty for working so hard and hosting this wonderful party for us each week, rain or shine! I feel so honored and humbled! Marty, you made my day!
Be to sure to stop by and check out her inspiring blog, where you will find so many ways to create beautiful vignettes and she can work wonders with paint and stain and shares so many helpful tips. I love her blog!

Decorating the house with fresh-cut flowers is such a beautiful way to enjoy those gorgeous summer blooms. I love colorful fresh flowers lined up in cute mason jars on my kitchen counter or window sill or the gorgeous roses and the delicate Queen Anne's Lace in crystal vases as an elegant centerpiece for my table. Perennial flowers are so beautiful and I wish they lasted longer and all summer long....

The peonies in my flower bed have displayed their glorious beauty and I've enjoyed bringing them indoors. Every time I pass by I catch a wisp of their heavenly fragrance. Makes me happy!
In today's tablescape I've used them as a centerpiece for my tea table and they are a real showstopper. Don't you agree?
