Wine Vignette

I love creating vignettes! They are so much fun to play around with. I like visualizing how they will look and which elements I will use to create them. There are so many wonderful vignettes all over blog land done by amazingly creative ladies. One such talented lady is Marty @ A Stroll Thru Life. She has a rare talent of taking everyday objects and making wonderful vignettes all around her beautiful home. I made this French-inspired tag by decoupaging the image from The Graphics Fairy and then singed the edges with a candle to give it an aged finish:

I love using rosemary in cooking as well as in decorating. They make excellent accents and add so much visual texture:

While taking these pictures, I discovered a nice little feature in my camera which I never paid much attention to before. By selecting Color Accent feature from the menu, I can take nice shots of white or neutral backgrounds with accent on the boldest color of the subject. Isn't that neat?
