Endless Summer!

Then followed that beautiful season... Summer....
Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light; and the landscape
Lay as if new created in all the freshness of childhood.
~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Decorating the house with fresh-cut flowers is such a beautiful way to enjoy those gorgeous summer blooms. I love colorful fresh flowers lined up in cute mason jars on my kitchen counter or window sill or the gorgeous roses and the delicate Queen Anne's Lace in crystal vases as an elegant centerpiece for my table. Perennial flowers are so beautiful and I wish they lasted longer and all summer long....

The peonies in my flower bed have displayed their glorious beauty and I've enjoyed bringing them indoors. Every time I pass by I catch a wisp of their heavenly fragrance. Makes me happy!
In today's tablescape I've used them as a centerpiece for my tea table and they are a real showstopper. Don't you agree?

Lovely Peonies glorifying my green McCoy Vase:

  33. Poppy, Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog. Yes, of course, I would love for you to participate in my weekly linky parties. Sharing a beverage is fine, it does not have to be food. I have linkies on Mondays, and Thursdays. Mondays you can share any kind of recipe, Thursdays I'm hoping to get only vintage recipes, but that only means 10 years or older. Looking forward to your participation. Have a great day. :-)
