Last weekend was her graduation ceremony as well as her graduation party, and I wanted to share some of the pictures from her party.
The Graduating Class of 2013
Red and gold are the school colors, so I wanted to incorporate the same color theme for the party:
Paper lanterns hung from apple trees:
I made the the pennant banners from scraps of calico and then strung them around the yard and the buffet tables:
The chalkboard circles in the center of the calico banner started out as unfinished wooden circles from the local craft store. Then, I spray painted the circles with chalkboard paint:
The centerpieces for each table were simple mason jars wrapped in burlap:
filled with summer blooms:
and tied with gingham ribbon made from fabric scraps:
They make simple and cute floral centerpieces:
Perfect for a summer outdoor party:

and fun summer outdoor games:
