Winter White Tea for Two

A Winter White Tea for Two:

"You can dance, every dance with the guy
Who gives you the eye, let him hold you tight

You can smile, every smile for the man
You held your hand neath the pale moon light

But don't forget who's takin' you home
And in whose arms you're gonna be

So darlin' save the last dance for me

Oh I know that the music's fine
Like sparklin' wine, go and have your fun

But don't forget who's takin' you home
And in whose arms you're gonna be
So darlin' save the last dance for me

You can dance, go and carry on
Till the night is gone

And it's time to go
If he asks if you're all alone
Can he walk you home, you must tell him no

'Cause don't forget who's taking you home
And in whose arms you're gonna be
Save the last dance for me"

I am a big fan of Michael Buble. So, I thought "Save the Last Dance for Me" would go perfectly with my warm and cozy winter tea....
Currently, I am in love with my burlap-doily pillow.

The doily is attached with fabric glue to the pillow front. I contemplated between a tassel fringe and pom pom fringe, but in the end I settled for the latter. The pom poms remind me of snowballs and seemed so perfect for the winter season. Don't you think so?
I like the contrast between the texture of the burlap and the delicate doily.

I love the romance in the color white.
A black velvet ribbon is wrapped around a white candle to jazz it up.

And nothing says romance more eloquently than red roses in silvery mercury glass.

A romantic vignette is never complete without candle light to set the mood.

Thanks for visiting me!
The long, cold days of winter seem to be the perfect time to sit back and snuggle and enjoy a steaming cup of tea! The entire tea setting is set up on an old white shutter used as a tray.
I am so glad you stopped by!

Also, Thank you Kathy at A Delightsome Life for featuring my Christmas Buffet at the weekly party!

  32. I think the song is kind of bittersweet, like this time of the year. I can imagine my father singing this to my mom as she danced with others, always reminding her she was "coming home with me ".

    The tea vignette is stunning.
