Blog Anniversary Review and a Giveaway!

I love using fresh herbs in cooking, herbal personal care products, and even herbs as decorative accents around my home. So, when Alicia from Eco Natural Soap contacted me a few weeks ago about doing a review and a giveaway of the natural organic products sold at her store, I was excited! Each of their products is personally tested by Alicia's husband, Alan Hicks, and is formulated with only 100% pure, natural, organic ingredients from organic recipes. I love reading Alicia's blog: Eco Friendly Homemaking  where she shares about living (and saving)  green!

Alicia was kind enough to send me some of her wonderful products, and I have been using them for the past week. I just love them!

As soon as I received the products, the first thing that impressed me was the amazing scent...nice, clean, and oh so refreshing!

Few of my favorites:

Exotic Butters Luxury Dry Skin Balm in Island Lime

This body butter is absolutely chemical free, made of natural products, and non-greasy. It is concentrated, so a little went a long way. I have been using it daily on my hands, knees, and elbows for the past week, and my winter dry skin is almost gone. The best part of this body butter is that the skin absorbs it well and keeps my skin soft, smooth, and moist the entire day. This product is absolutely wonderful! Even my husband loved this body butter! He has been using it on dry spots on his back and the skin balm did a wonderful job of keeping the skin moisturized.

Bath and Body Bar: (Spearmint Lavender)

(Source)

I have been using the Spearmint Lavender Bath and Body bar instead of my regular body wash, and  I really like how it left my skin feeling so tinglingly fresh, clean, and soft! I like the fact that soap has no colorant or preservative and is made with all natural ingredients. It makes my skin youthful and radiant looking.  I adore anything that has lavender in it. This perfect bar soap lathers up quickly, feels luxurious and the fragrance is absolutely heavenly :)  It's the best soap I have ever used! It makes you feel that you just came out of a spa!

Lip Balm: Citrus Sunrise

( Source)

I have used lip balms all my life, and I have been wearing the Citrus Sunrise under my lipstick. This lip balm kept my lips soft and smooth, and it feels so soothing! It lasted a long time without reapplying. I love the fact that it is made with all natural ingredients such as vitamin E, Castor bean oil, shea butter to name a few. There are no drying agents that might cause you to reapply, and it kept my lips smooth and nourished for a long time. I adore the citrus flavor!

Overall, I am very impressed with the variety of products, and I have enjoyed using each one of them. They carry a whole range of personal care products for your body and even for your pets. They also sell mineral make up and offer free shipping for all of their products! Isn't that wonderful?

Now it's your chance to try out Eco Natural Soap's products!

An Irish Cuppa Tea

Hello, everyone!
March 17th is just round the corner!

So, today I am sharing a nice "Irish cuppa tea" with you in honor of St Patrick's Day, a favorite holiday from the land of the Emerald Isle.

I love Ireland, and someday I would love to visit this country steeped in tradition, mystical folklore, myths of fairies, and leprechauns dancing a jig.

A magical land of endless rolling hills and shadowy mists and moors.

The Emerald isle has a long love affair with the tradition of drinking tea.

It is one of the biggest tea consuming nations in the world per capita.

The national average is four cups per person per day!

Traditionally, tea in Ireland is served hot.

With milk and sugar

To celebrate green, I have pulled out my white dishes and green jadeite to set up my tea tray

I love vintage dishes! I love using them in tablescapes and vignettes and have so much fun playing with them.
The "Alice" jadeite saucer is one of my favorite patterns, I love it!
The embossed flowers on the plates and the scalloped edge design look so pretty, and the color itself is so beautiful.

This over-sized wicker tea cup was an impulse buy from Marshalls last year. I am so glad I picked it up because there are so many ways I can use it around the house as well as outdoors in summer.

For the candle, I just wrapped some lace and ribbon around it,

hung a paper tag with a St. Paddy graphic decoupaged on it, and...

sprinkled some glitter on it, reminding me of that elusive pot of gold!

I am all set to share a nice "Irish cuppa tea" with you, won't you join me?

Wishing everyone a Happy St. Patrick's Day!
May the luck of the Irish be with you :)

Also, I would like to thank you, my readers for your loving thoughts and comments on my Blue Willow Tablescape. I am humbled by your sweet words! And my heartfelt thanks to these dearest ladies for highlighting my Blue Willow Tablescape at their weekly link parties:

Thanks for your lovely visit! It is always a pleasure having you here!
