Framed Burlap Jewelry Holder

Hi friends! How is your week going?
The weather is finally warming up after a long and bitterly cold winter! It has been a beautiful, sunny day today, and I am in a spring cleaning/ organizing mood!
I have another quick and easy project to share with you!

Framed Burlap Jewelry Holder

 Supplies needed:
1. Frames of different sizes without the mats (I picked up mine while thrifting for a dollar a piece).
2. Cork boards slightly bigger in size than the frames (I got mine from Jo Ann craft store for another project long ago).
3. 12x12 inch Fleur-de-lis printed Burlap specialty cardstock paper (Scrapbooking section of JoAnn craft store).
4. Scissor
5. Staple gun

Step 1: Place the frame on the cork board and cut the cork board to the size of the frame.

I got two of these printed burlap cardstock papers for each of the frames.

Step 2: Cut the printed burlap paper to the size of the frame.
The bigger of the two frames was almost the same size as the printed burlap paper, so all I had to do was trim a little at the bottom.

Step 3: Staple the printed burlap paper and then the cork board to the back of the frame.

Voilà. The finished product:

Love how they look on the open shelves in our master bath.
For the larger of the two frames, I am planning to use it as a jewelry holder, and for the smaller frame, I am thinking of gluing a few sea shells or maybe a starfish for instant 3D art! What do you think?

It was a quick and easy project and so much fun to create! Looks pretty and functional to boot!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a wonderful week!
